Recorded on February 1st, 2010, in the same studio as the original 25 years earlier (Henson Recording Studios, formerly A&M Recording Studios) “We Are The World 25 For Haiti”, in which Jones and Richie serve as executive producers and producers, was created in collaboration with executive producers Wyclef Jean, Randy Phillips and Peter Tortorici; producers Humberto Gattica and RedOne; and co-producers Rickey Minor, Mervyn Warren and Patti Austin to benefit the Haitian earthquake relief efforts and the rebuilding of Haiti.
Academy Award-winning writer-director Paul Haggis (Crash, Million Dollar Baby), whose own personal efforts as well as those of Artists for Peace and Justice have already saved countless lives in Haiti, filmed the private recording session to create the accompanying video and behind-the-scenes production, and serves as Film Director and as an Executive Producer with Jones, Richie, Jean, Phillips and Tortorici.
The 25th Anniversary recording features over 80 artists and performers. The recording of We Are The World 25 For Haiti embodied the same enthusiasm, sense of purpose and generosity as the original recording 25 years ago. Every one of the artists who participated, regardless of genre or generation, walked into the room with their hearts and souls completely open to coming together to help the people of Haiti.

The album for Uzza is on the back road to being complete! WOOHOO! And one of there songs got on a local compilation CD with other artist! D Stevens got radio air play not to long ago on KFAI. The Great Upset just recently finished up there album. Gregg Garvey with his band The Brutes just made it on a well known TV show, Jersey Shore with one of there songs. 2010 has been a great start to a good year so far. Looking at more possibilities coming our way.
Brett Klug is our newest artist, and he will be showing up in the studios within the next couple weeks to record his LP. And D Stevens is working on new material for his up and coming album called Silent Roads. Keep posted for more info coming out. Interviews are soon to appear on our new blog that is currently under construction and when up and running I will be sending the link out. I hope everyone is having a great week!
Uzza Updates

Tomorrow (Later today), is the last day of tracking with Uzza in the studio for Sound Storm Studios. It’s all editing and mixing from here. It’s been a long journey and one hell of an exciting one at that! Time to get the 2nd guitar done, and then send them the rest of the tracks to finish up any synths, keyboard, piano, and intro peaces they have. I will be sending out links once the music is up and running. I am very thrilled to be helping on such a wonderful and talented band. And there new stuff just keeps getting better and better. Explosion!

2010 is coming. And with it, Sound Storm Studios will be looking at it’s chance at explosion. We have a good line up ready to get going Jan. 2010 in the studio. Bizzle, Uzza, and Angie. Getting the studio rocking from all areas such as gothic rock, hip-hop, and even some instrumental compositions. Looking at getting some more rock bands in the mix, so if you or anyone you know is looking at making there next Demo, LP, EP, or even full album, get at me. I wanna help make your recording experience and atmosphere the way you’ve always wanted it. We’re not a hot shot major recording studio rig, we’re not hear to tell you what to do, how to do it, when to do it, and make you pay out your ass to do it. WE don’t want you to take out a second mortgage just to work with me! It’s musik! I wanna give you the chance to show your love, your drive your passion and most importantly, your skills as a musicians no matter what you do and how you do it. If you have something to record I got the means to get it done. Let me help you get to the next level. Wheather it be to have a CD out in every store, or a demo to bring to venues, DJ’s, or even labels, or even just to get your stuff up and ready for quality feel on your website! It’s Christmas Eve!

So here is it. Right now, Dec. 25th way to early in the morning. I’ve been working hard on some new projects. I have a deal being set up with a composer in town to start work soon on a compilation CD for there composition sheet music. I have been hurrying up to try and get Uzza into the studio the past month between theirs and my schedule but everything with them seems to be shooting off nicely Also I have been diving into 3D images and animation making. It’s been a fun ride. Not what I want to ‘DO’ but it’s i nice side hobby that I have been slowly learning and enjoying. You know when you see a movie, and they show you a bullet being shot and flying threw the air? When you look at the bullet it is shiny and mirrors the environment around it as you watch it. Ya, that was my first animation Now I am tryin to make a face, and after I get some more learning done, I want to hop in and try to make a really rough draft of my logo in a 3D animation. If I actually get it accomplished I will show it off! Other then then that. I don’t really have much more to say this evening. I am going to try to get on here more often and update this blog more frequently, as well as put a RSS feed on here, and a share button so you can share any information, images, or videos I may pop up on here. Check out my video tab. There you can check out video I post, also I have a live video feed on here as well that I intend to start using more frequently. I have been thinking about doing various recordings from the studio, as well as tutorials, demos, and just insight that I may have. Keep posted and have a happy holidays! Thanks for coming by!
Studio update

Tracked Uzza in the studio last weekend. Now I am getting some of the editing out of the way so we can focus on vocals and guitar next week. There music is very unique and I love it. They make a great sound instrumentally and vocally.
As well. I am waiting to here back from The Great Upset, so we can get back in the studio in January so we can finish up on tracking.
I am looking at getting another artist in the studio soon. I may have found someone I would like to bring on board with Sound Storm Studios. We’ll see how things go.
In other news. It’s finally snowing! It’s cold as hell with it… But it’s snowing! Going home for the holidays to see the family. When I get back I am going in to Lasik Plus to get my eyes fixed! Now more glasses… I hope. **knock on wood**
